What are the benefits of hiring a VA? You pay only for the time worked, not time around the water cooler, while on break or at lunch, etc.
You have no employee insurance, paid time off, vacation time, bonuses, training, etc.
A VA can be utilized no matter how big or small the task. From an simple word processing document or an ongoing need for administrative support, a VA is prepared to meet the needs of individual clients. Partnerships with clients are encouraged which result in the most affordable rates and satisfying working conditions for both individuals. After getting your VA acquainted with the particulars of your business, your style of distributing/receiving projects and so on your VA will be up to speed and ready to do what virtual assistants do best - downsizing those nasty "To-Do lists."
Will a VA be my employee?
Partnering with a VA will not gain you an employee. Because virtual assistants are independent entrepreneurs much like yourself you will be working with another like-minded business owner that understands the importance of working together with another business professional. You will get someone who chooses to work with you as much as you choose to work with him or her. The VA's decision to work with you is based on being attracted to your work and on being interested in being your partner for success rather than because he or she is looking for "some job." It's that type of commitment that ensures a beneficial working relationship for both the client and VA. It's a win-win situation for everyone! VA's work most effectively and efficiently when establishing long-term relationships because VA's are dedicated, driven professionals who genuinely want to powerfully impact your life.
It is realized that individual client needs for services will vary so different pricing plans can be found by clicking on the "Terms & Fees" tab at the top of the page.
What types of work do I give a VA?
VA's can be utilized to work on any adminstrative work that doesn't require your personal touch. To help you determine which tasks that may be it is suggested that you keep a list of each item that you do daily. Maintain this list for one week. From this list anything that doesn't require your personal touch could be shifted to your VA. Think of how much
work you do daily, weekly and monthly that can be transferred to your VA. Now, think about all of the business projects and directions you can take your business with this newly found free time. The possibilities are truly endless! How does a VA do work virtually?
Virtual assistants will support a client using fax, email, phone, scanner, and internet services. Remember that all documents created or used by VAs can quickly and easily be transmitted via email attachment, by fax, delivery of diskette/cd or hard copy using an overnight delivery service, or by using priority/regular postal mail services. With your VA being just a mouse click or phone call away your interaction is no different than pressing an interoffice intercom button to speak with your assistant. You are just using your mouse or phone instead! Some clients and VAs find using instant messaging (IM) during working business hours to be quite effective.
